Michelle Rocha has been making mortgages move since she joined FirstTrust in 2011. With roots in consumer and commercial banking dating back to 2001, she brought a sharp eye for process and a love for getting things done — and mortgage operations turned out to be the perfect fit.

As COO, Michelle owns the full operational pipeline at FirstTrust — Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing. She’s detail-oriented, hands-on, and an advocate for leveraging technology that makes her team faster and more efficient. If there’s a checklist to be built, a bottleneck to clear, or a better way to do something, Michelle’s already on it.
